Layar: Augmented Reality Browser for Google Android (and iPhone Soon?)

Layar is the world's first Augmented Reality browser. It uses a combination of your phone's GPS, camera, internet connectivity, and built in compass (which is why it will be availalbe for the iPhone 3GS but not other models) to determine where you are in the world and what you want to gather metadata about. Point your Google Android phone's camera toward a building in the city and it can display information about those buldings (such as the address, rent-price, and maybe even Yelp style ratings if it is a place of business) on top of the image on the screen.
